Student Scholarship

Late applications being accepted.

What sets the WiCyS 2022 conference apart from others is that approximately 50% of the attendees are students from High School, 2 and 4-year institutions at all levels of education, and 50% of attendees are professionals at various levels of their careers.

Students MUST apply for WiCyS scholarships to attend the conference (there is no general WiCyS 2022 registration for students) and have to be a current WiCyS student member to apply.

The Student Scholarship awards reduced rate registration (includes all activities and meals) and two nights of complimentary shared lodging—March 17 and 18. Students receiving the scholarship will pay a minimal $40 registration processing fee instead of the conference registration cost of $450.

Students had the option to apply to be selected as a student volunteer. Students selected to volunteer are eligible for (not guaranteed) a $500 travel stipend provided they complete the volunteer hours and are not local to the area. Local students will be reimbursed for parking. ALL VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENTS HAVE BEEN FILLED.

Student Research Posters will still be accepted until December 1st. Posters provide opportunities for students to present their work for the audience at WiCyS 2022 in poster format.
