This unique program is designed and developed for WiCyS members to join a Fortinet NSE4 WiCyS cohort, gain access to coursework, labs, open office hours with technical mentors, exam voucher, conference scholarship opportunities, and consideration for employment at Fortinet.

WiCyS Fortinet NSE4 Certification Summer Camp
This unique WiCyS cohort program will provide 100 WiCyS members with the support and structure to complete the Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) 4 Certification.
Throughout this program, accepted WiCyS members will:
- Be provided the self-paced coursework and labs
- Be invited to an invite-only kick-off webinar
- Have access to the Fuse cohort
- Have the ability to schedule 1:1 office hours with Fortinet technical mentors
- Take the NSE4 exam voucher
- Have WiCyS 2023 conference scholarship opportunities
- Have consideration for employment at Fortinet
The Network Security Expert NSE4 certification recognizes your ability to install and manage the day-to-day configuration, monitoring and operation of a firewall device to support specific corporate network security policies.

Eligibility
To participate in this program, you should have familiarity with networking concepts including network services, physical connections, topologies and architecture, and cloud connectivity. If you have had training in Networking Fundamentals or if you have had experience with network devices or deployed Ethernet solutions or done network troubleshooting, this program and certification would be ideal.
Eligibility for acceptance is based on accepting the terms and conditions of having knowledge of the fundamentals of networking and applicants essay response.
Requirements
- Committing to 4 hours a week for 10 weeks
- Participation in the Fuse community
- Complete the exam by Friday, October 28

- EDUCATION: Gain access to coursework, labs, cohort, webinars, office hours, and more!
- SCHOLARSHIP: Five WiCyS members that complete the exam by October 28 will be randomly selected to receive a WiCyS 2023 conference scholarship.
- EMPLOYMENT: WiCyS members that complete the exam by October 28 will be considered as potential candidates for positions that Fortinet has available.
- CERTIFICATION: Complete NSE 4 certification

July 15: Notifications sent to participants
July 18: Training launch date
July 18: 1:00pm CT: Participant kickoff Zoom webinar
July 19: Participants added to Fuse channel
September 30: Program ends
October: Deadline to register for exam
December: Scholarship recipients announced
December 31: Deadline to redeem lab coupons to gain access to the labs
February 28: Deadline to complete lessons and labs
March 15: Deadline to book your exam voucher
