WiCyS + ISC2 Certified in CybersecuritySM Certification Summer Camp

Ready for a cybersecurity career and need help figuring out where to start? At WiCyS, we get that. Navigating your cybersecurity educational entry point can be challenging, confusing and sometimes intimidating. We’re here to reduce those barriers and help you succeed. 

WiCyS is partnering with ISC2 for underrepresented populations to have accessibility to cybersecurity educational resources and certifications. The WiCyS + ISC2 Certified in CybersecuritySM Certification Summer Camp is an offering to WiCyS members where we enhance the experience with the power of community, mentoring and incentives.

This entry-level certification is for IT professionals, career changers, college students, recent college graduates, advanced high school students and recent high school graduates. But with this WiCyS summer camp cohort, it’s so much more. View the Press Release HERE.

  • 500 WiCyS members
  • International members
  • Members committed to completing the certification (requirement)
  • Members willing to commit 14 hours to the self-paced program

Timeline:

May 16: Launch webinar
May 15: Application opens
May 31: Application closes
June 5: Selections are made and commitment form emailed at 5pm CT
June 7: Deadline for submission of commitment form is 12pm CT
June 7: ISC2 registration, slack channel invitation and badges emailed at 5pm CT
June 8: Kick off webinar at 1pm CT 
June 12- July 21: Program runs
August 31: Deadline for certification completion
September: Certificate of course completion
