Join us on September 17 at 12pm CT for the first WiCyS Book Club meeting!
The WiCyS Book Club is about creating the space in our hectic lives to connect as a community and bring diverse perspectives into a lively discussion about pre-selected books. This book club meets bi-monthly and will review various cybersecurity and privacy-related books.
Meeting Date/Time: September 17 at 12pm CT
Book: Cyber Privacy: Who Has Your Data and Why You Should Care by April Falcon Doss
About the Book:
You shouldn’t have to be a privacy expert to understand what happens to your data. In Cyber Privacy, Doss demystifies the digital footprints we leave in our daily lives and reveals how our data is being used – sometimes against us – by the private sector, the government, and even our employers and schools.
Attend the meeting for a discussion about the book and how these issues impact our lives!
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
