In response to our CEO Jeff D’s call for a Day of Understanding and keeping in mind the continued anti-black, Asian American and minority racism and deaths, our WiCyS Farmers Insurance Affiliate is looking to dedicate our next WiCyS meeting on July 15 to the struggles and challenges of Black, Asian American, minority cybersecurity practitioners and Allies. This will be a free flowing meeting where all attending Farmers WiCyS members can feel safe to share their struggles and celebrate successes.
We would like each team member to be able to discuss unconscious bias, microaggressions, and any successes w/ mentorship, empathy and mutual understanding, and if this played an important role to break down barriers for you.

In addition, we’re thrilled to be able to welcome Lynn Dohm- Executive Director of WiCyS Global w/ updated info on Free Mentor/Mentee program at WiCyS for 2021 and beyond.
