About the WiCyS Southern Africa 2023 Conference

The conference theme centered around “Embrace equity” looks to drive the conversation on the barriers to entry for women in cybersecurity as well as form constructive relationships to resolve these barriers. We invite everyone in the technology industry (irrespective of gender) to partner in constructive discussions to solve systemic challenges. The event will see industry leaders from South Africa’s largest corporates join forces to share their experiences and knowledge. It will feature a keynote presentation from a leading female CEO and a panel discussion from the most senior technology leaders from South Africa’s biggest companies.
