DESCRIPTION:The Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) Chicago Affiliate and the Chicago CISO of the Year (CCOTY) Program Committee invite all WiCyS members to the next event in their EMPOWERING WOMEN IN CYBERSECURITY series\, which aims to investigate CISOs’ perspectives on Cybersecurity in the Public Sector. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet WiCyS Executive Lynn Dohm\, who will be attending. \n“Cybersecurity in Public Sector “\, will feature a panel of Chicago area CISOs sharing their point of view on the cybersecurity risks for public sector entities\, how they differ to private sector entities and challenges in minimizing them. \nFeatured panelists include:\n• Bruce Coffing\, CISO\, City of Chicago\n• Leilani Lauger\, CISO\, University of Notre Dame\n• Paul Neff\, CISO\, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction \nThe event is open exclusively to WiCyS members and their guests – specifically\, WiCyS members are strongly encouraged to register AND to bring a mentor! Our intent for the series is to involve the cybersecurity leaders of the future in Chicago by partnering with allies\, managers\, and mentors to grow together.
