SUMMARY:Webinar | Adversarial Machine Learning: What is it?
DESCRIPTION:Join Evercita C. Eugenio\, Statistician: Sandia National Laboratories as she discusses Machine learning advancements that have grown rapidly in the last few years. However\, machine learning is heavily dependent on data\, as machine learning models are trained on vast datasets that are then used to provide insight or draw conclusions. This reliance on data means that machine learning can be subverted by an adversary who is able to manipulate even just a small portion of the data. \nThis talk will provide an overview of what adversarial machine learning is and details on some categories of vulnerabilities. Additionally\, this talk will provide a list of things to think about when using or developing machine learning models. \nWiCyS is proud to provide members the opportunity to earn CPE/CEU credits for attending WiCyS Webinars live. \nTo earn CPE/CEU credits with the following providers\, you must meet the minimum requirements: \n\nGIAC/(ISC)2: attend for a minimum of 45 minutes or the entirety of the webinar\nCompTIA: attend for a minimum of 60 minutes or the entirety of the webinar (webinar topic must relate to the certificate being renewed)\nAttendees who meet the requirements can log into BrightTALK to print out their attendance certificates to submit for CPE/CEU credits\n\n  \nRegister and join this webinar HERE and access the recording if you are unable to join live.

SUMMARY:WiCyS Florida Affiliate | Cybersecurity\, To Invest or Not to Invest. That is the Question!
DESCRIPTION:In a world where databreaches and cyber threats are prevalent\, ensuring the protection of an organizationis paramount. As we navigate the digital age\, it has become increasingly apparent that safeguarding an organization’s digital assets is not just a matter ofdefense but a strategic investment in a business’s future. \nJust as in business\, where strategic investments yield substantial returns\, the same principle applies to cybersecurity. We are at a tipping point where executives and board members are no longer willing to do nothing. Increased and expensive data breaches\, ransomware\, and phishing are driving this change.
