DESCRIPTION:Join WiCyS Colorado for an evening of networking and discussing\, “Enhancing Interpersonal Communication in Cybersecurity”. \nWe’ll have fun activities like icebreakers\, opportunities to engage with members of our cyber community\, as well as learning new skills like lock picking and decryption. \nOur Guest Speaker – Donna Riccard \nDonna has over 30 years of experience in speaking\, training and interpersonal communication. She will talk about the significance of effective communication in a predominantly technical and often introverted community. Donna has been very introverted herself\, at one time being unable to look someone in the eye and talk to them at the same time. Anything extroverted you see in her has been learned. She knows if she can do it\, anyone can. \nThis talk aims to inspire cybersecurity professionals to embrace and enhance their interpersonal communication skills\, ultimately leading to more effective communication\, improved team collaboration and better future job opportunities.
