DESCRIPTION:In the journey of a cybersecurity or privacy professional\, we can find ourselves staring at a job description\, preparing for an interview or negotiation\, or standing in front of a career booth\, unsure. How do we stand? Where do our hands go? What do or can we say? – Ultimately\, how do we represent ourselves in a manner that is professional\, best represents our abilities\, and is authentic to who we are? To be comfortable and confident in answering these questions\, we must understand ourselves: our abilities\, our opportunities\, our motivators\, and our values. \nWe’ll explore our understanding of ourselves by exploring the value of Credo\, Mission Statement\, and elevator pitches. We’ll then dig deeper into the value of building our stories\, looking at our career visions\, and applying our values to determine our career path\, wrapping up the session with getting insight into finding your career match. \n
