Student Scholarship

Students MUST apply for a WiCyS scholarship to attend the conference (there is no general WiCyS 2023 registration for students) and have to be a current WiCyS student member to apply.

The Student Scholarship awards reduced rate registration (includes all activities and meals) and two nights of complimentary shared lodging—March 16 and 17. Students receiving the scholarship will pay a minimal $40 registration processing fee instead of the conference registration cost of $450.

Students have the option to apply to be selected as a student volunteer. Students selected to volunteer are eligible for (not guaranteed) a $500 travel stipend (if local $100 instead of $500) provided they complete the volunteer hours, complete required paperwork, and attend the Travel Stipend Verification event on Saturday, March 18 from 2pm to 2:30pm.

Student Research Posters will still be accepted until December 12. Posters provide opportunities for students to present their work for the audience at WiCyS 2023 in poster format.
