WiCyS 2024 is the go-to event for cybersecurity professionals, students, and organizations. The conference is the flagship event to recruit, retain and advance women in cybersecurity — all while creating a community of engagement, encouragement and support at a technical conference for women and allies.
ABOUT
The WiCyS conference is the premier event to RECRUIT, RETAIN and ADVANCE women in cybersecurity. WiCyS brings together women and allies in cybersecurity from academia, research, government, and industry.
Conference components include: Keynote Speakers, Technical Presentations, Workshops, Panels, Lightning Talks, Networking Socials, Résumé Reviews, Mock Interviews, Professional Headshots, Career Fair for organizations to hire professionals and students, Capture-the-Flag Competition, Breakfast to honor military and more.
Venue
The WiCyS 2024 Annual Conference will be held on April 11-13, 2024 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee.
Registration
General registration for in-person and virtual attendance will open Monday, February 19, 2024.
NOTE: Students must have a scholarship to attend WiCyS 2024. Scholarship applications will open on Monday, September 11, 2023. Academic sponsorships include a certain number of scholarships.

Conference Statistics
The 2023 conference was full of technical talent, skills and an abundance of inspiration. Over 121 sponsors embraced the power of paying it forward and provided support to engage over 1,900 attendees. Through this support, 1,004 scholarships were awarded and 338 travel stipends were distributed. Over 450 volunteers helped launch #WiCyS2023. There also were 28 research posters, 19 workshops, 19 countries represented, 16 technical presentations, 16 lightning talks, 14 meetups/informational sessions, eight featured speakers, seven employer socials, six leadership events, five birds of a feather, four empowering and impactful keynotes, one Allyship Symposium and one capture-the-flag!

“Being a part of the WiCyS community has been an empowering and motivational journey for me. I attended my first WiCyS in 2018 as a WiCyS student scholar during my Ph.D. and met amazing women in cybersecurity as Dr. Ambareen Siraj, founder of WiCyS, as well as met many others like me, which helped me to develop self-confidence and overcome imposter syndrome. Next year I participated as a WiCyS program committee and faculty along with my students. It has been a great feeling to encourage students to be a part of WiCyS, and serve as co-advisor for the WiCyS student chapter as a faculty.
