regional affiliates
Regional Affiliates serve a state or group of neighboring states in the United States, coordinated with WiCyS to avoid overlap.
specialty affiliates
Specialty Affiliates focus on a specific sector or area within the cybersecurity profession and are remote, so you can join one from anywhere in the world.
international affiliates
International Affiliates extend the WiCyS mission to regions outside the United States, supporting local engagement and global reach.

Corporate Affiliates are internal communities created by strategic partners to support women in cybersecurity within their organization.

What are the requirements of joining an affiliate?

You do not have to be a WiCyS global member to join a WiCyS Affiliate

If you are a WiCyS member, you can join up to two different affiliates by logging into the WiCyS member portal and updating your profile to have a Primary and Secondary affiliate of your choice
How do I join an affiliate?
- To join an affiliate, simply fill out the interest form or email them using the address listed on their affiliate page on the WiCyS website. You can also find them on social media and engage that way.
- If you are a WiCyS member, you can join up to two different affiliates by logging into the WiCyS member portal and updating your profile to have a Primary and Secondary affiliate of your choice.
How do I start a new affiliate if I don’t see one I want to join?
- Click here to submit your Affiliate Application
- Anyone submitting a WiCyS Affiliate Application must be a WiCyS member in good standing
- The Affiliate Application asks for the names of five (5) people who’ve been WiCyS global members for a minimum of 3-months prior to the application being submitted and would like to be founding members of the new affiliate
- Affiliates are for industry professionals – student chapters are separate
- Review all affiliate guidelines before submitting your application
