Join Mary Jane Partain, WiCyS Program Director, and Adaeze Udoh, WiCyS Program Coordinator for the WiCyS Google Cybersecurity Program Cohort webinar. The WiCyS Google Cybersecurity Program was developed to provide an understanding of the importance of cybersecurity practices and their impact on organizations. Learners will identify common risks, threats, and vulnerabilities, as well as techniques to mitigate them. Hands-on experience with Python, Linux, and SQL is also included in the module. The cohort style set up by WiCyS will include technical mentors to help students progress through the program. It is beginner-level and does not require any prior experience in cybersecurity.
