WiCyS GRC Intensive Training Program

A comprehensive 14-week training on GRC principles, NIST risk management, policy writing, control implementation, and methodologies.

GRC Intensive Training Program

The WiCy S GRC program is a robust and intensive 14-week Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) training specifically designed for early to mid-career women professionals in cybersecurity and related fields.

The program delivers a comprehensive, hands-on education centered on the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), which serves as the foundational methodology for the course. Structured with weekly lectures and dedicated Q&A sessions, the curriculum progresses from GRC concepts and system categorization to in-depth coverage of policy writing and the practical implementation of all major NIST RMF control families.

The course culminates with risk documentation and a final project where students give a presentation to the instructor and invited cyber leaders for live feedback and industry insights. Upon graduation, participants will be proficient in policy development, control statement writing, risk analysis, and providing a final assessment of an organization’s cybersecurity journey.
