WiCyS + ISC2 Certified in CybersecuritySM Certification SPRING Camp

Ready for a cybersecurity career and need help figuring out where to start? At WiCyS, we get that. Navigating your cybersecurity educational entry point can be challenging, confusing and sometimes intimidating. We’re here to reduce those barriers and help you succeed. 

WiCyS is partnering with ISC2 to promote accessibility to cybersecurity educational resources and certifications. The WiCyS + ISC2 Certified in CybersecuritySM Certification Spring Camp is an offering to WiCyS members where we enhance the experience with the power of community, mentoring and incentives. This entry-level certification is for entry-level applicants and with this WiCyS Spring Camp cohort, it’s so much more. Priority is given to entry-level participants.

Available to:

  • 500 WiCyS members that have not participated in the program previously
  • Domestic and International members
  • Members who have never taken the ISC2 training and exam with a free voucher
  • Members committed to completing the certification (requirement)
  • Members willing to commit 14 hours to the self-paced program

What you don’t need to enroll:

  • Prerequisites
  • Previous cybersecurity work experience
  • Formal cybersecurity education

Important to know:

  • Please note that this does not cover the Account Maintenance Fee (AMF) for the certification after passing the exam. See more information here
  • The 1 free exam voucher from ISC2 only covers one attempt. Any additional attempts of the exam would be covered by the program participant. WiCyS and ISC2 do not cover the cost of any subsequent exam attemps.

 

WiCyS + ISC2 Certified in CybersecuritySM Spring Camp will provide you with evaluating experience across five security domains:

Timeline:

March 17: Application opens
March 20: Launch Webinar (Click here for the webinar if you were unable to attend)
April 14: Application closes
April 22 – 23: Acceptance Selections are made and commitment form emailed by 5pm CT
April 25: Deadline for submission of commitment form is 12pm CT
April 28 – 29: ISC2 registration, Slack channel invitation and badges emailed by 5pm CT
May 1: Kick off webinar at 12pm CT
May 1 – June 2: Program runs
June 30: Deadline for certification completion
