2026 Course Sessions
This specialized program features three courses offered in succession.

2026 Sessions
Course 1: AI Cyber Defense Ops
- Dates: July 6 – August 3, 2026
- Description: Designed to provide practical, job-ready skills utilizing Claude for key Blue Team roles, including detection engineering, incident response, and GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
- Format: Self-paced, online course with a recommended five-week study schedule.
- Cohort Bonus: WiCyS cohort members receive exclusive one-hour live sessions with the author or JHT staff every Monday at 4:00 PM CT for five weeks, starting July 6.

Course 2: Script-Based Malware Analysis
- Dates: Tentatively starting late August through September 2026
- Description: Dive deep into analyzing script-based threats, understanding malware behavior, and strengthening defensive postures.
- Format: Self-paced online curriculum with live cohort support.

Course 3: Web App Pentesting – Jr Analyst
- Dates: Tentatively starting in October 2026
- Description: Learn the fundamentals of offensive security, OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities, and hands-on web application penetration testing.
- Format: Self-paced online curriculum with live cohort support.
- Registration opens October 1 to coincide with Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
Course 3 Registration (Opening October 1)
Application & Participation Details
- Membership Requirement: Applicants must be current WiCyS members in good standing.
- Independent Admissions: As a reminder, you must submit a unique application for each individual course you wish to take.
- Time Commitment: Participants should expect to dedicate approximately 5–7 hours per week to complete the self-paced materials and attend the weekly live mentor sessions.
