Collaboration with Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) Sacramento and Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity (CLTC) UC Berkeley

Join WiCyS Sacramento Affiliate to dive into the 101 of securing AI Agents. This exciting collaboration will feature Krystal Jackson of UC Berkeley’s CLTC, who will address the emerging security risks and governance challenges of AI agents. Krystal’s current research focuses on the intersection of security and autonomy. With contributions to books such as Agentic AI: Theories and Practices (Springer, 2025) and to best practices, including the Cloud Security Alliance Agentic AI Red Teaming Guide and the forthcoming Agentic AI Risk-Management Standards Profile from CLTC.

Outside of research, she is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of policy leaders and has served as an instructor for BlueDot Impact and the Center for AI and Digital Policy, helping learners transition into high-impact governance roles. Krystal holds an M.S. in Information Security Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
