ADVANCEMENT: Breaking the Glass Ceiling and Demystifying Executive Leadership
Barbee Mooneyhan, Woebot and Janice Reese, Network PDF Cloud Solutions

Threats are becoming more mature. Regulations are expanding and changing rapidly. Our technology is more complex, especially with the rapid migration to the cloud. This ever-changing landscape of security and privacy requires a shift in the way we bring security to business conversations. Security exists to help protect the business and those that are in their purview by helping them make sound risk-based decisions to ensure the health, success, and longevity of an organization. Building advocacy programs with an aligned perspective on the BISO role for Human Risk Management.

Join Barbee Mooneyhan and Janice Reese, President and Vice President of WiCyS’ BISO Affiliate, as they explore bringing more diversity into the Executive Arena by advocating the BISO role and discussing other Executive Leadership roles and their impacts on security, privacy, and the business. Put on your role-playing hats as different executives, trying to solve a security business challenge. During this thought exercise, you will team up to understand the challenge, assess the risk from each business lens, come up with a solution, figure out how to implement the solution, and track effectiveness.

INCLUSION: Measuring the Invisible: How Inclusion Impacts Employee Satisfaction and Company Performance
Paolo Gaudiano, Aleria

While organizations are increasingly aware of the importance of investing in Diversity & Inclusion (D&I), there is less clarity around where to start and how to create and sustain a more diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace. At Aleria, we have developed a unique framework to define and measure Inclusion, which presents an entirely new way to think about D&I, allowing allows organizations to pinpoint where exactly they need to prioritize their efforts to drive meaningful progress, and to see the impact of their initiatives in weeks, not years.

We offer an Inclusion Workshop that introduces key concepts and then guides the audience through a memorable interactive experience to demonstrate how inclusion can be measured, and how it can be used to identify opportunities to make companies more inclusive and more successful.
