New York, August 27, 2025 — The Nonprofit Cyber coalition continues its growth with the addition of four distinguished new members: Center for Cyber Safety and Education, CMMC Professionals Network, NGO Information Sharing and Analysis Center (NGO-ISAC), and Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS). With these additions, Nonprofit Cyber now unites 53 nonprofits worldwide dedicated to developing and deploying cybersecurity solutions at scale.
Nonprofit Cyber is proud to welcome:
- Center for Cyber Safety and Education: As the charitable arm of ISC2, the Center empowers communities worldwide by educating the public on cyber safety, raising awareness of cyber career options, providing scholarships and support to pursue or further a career in cybersecurity, and assisting small organizations to protect themselves from cyber risk.
- CMMC Professionals Network (CPN): A global community dedicated to empowering CMMC practitioners with hands-on, real-world skills. CPN advances professional excellence and strengthens supply chain security and compliance across the United States defense industry base (DIB) through collaborative training and knowledge-sharing.
- NGO-ISAC: A trusted threat intelligence and information-sharing network designed to protect U.S.-based non-governmental organizations from cyberattacks, enabling NGOs to operate safely while serving vulnerable populations.
- Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS): WiCyS stands as the nonprofit organization that creates accessibility and opportunities for the cybersecurity workforce. With many initiatives and programming efforts, we continue to pave paths for many to get into cybersecurity and advance because of it. Our strategic partners, philanthropic funders, and conference sponsors are the foundation for making this happen.
“We are delighted to welcome these four organizations to Nonprofit Cyber. Each brings unique strengths that help advance our shared mission of protecting and empowering Internet users. From community-driven groups like NGO-ISAC and the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, to CPN’s focus on professional certification for the defense industry, to WiCyS’ leadership in diversity and inclusion — together they reflect the richness and breadth of the sectors we serve,” said Illena Armstrong, President of the Cloud Security Alliance and member of the Nonprofit Cyber Executive Committee
“The Center for Cyber Safety and Education is proud to join the Nonprofit Cyber coalition, which aligns with our mission to expand pathways into the cybersecurity profession and equip communities to create a safe and secure cyber world,” said the Center for Cyber Safety and Education’s Senior Director Holly Schneider Brown, CC. “By collaborating with this network of nonprofits, we can extend our reach and strengthen global cybersecurity awareness and education.”
