WiCyS Talent Assessment Powered by CyberGen.IQ

CyberGEN.IQ is a scientifically validated cognitive assessment that identifies how individuals naturally process information and solve problems. Unlike traditional tests, it does not measure prior knowledge or technical experience. Instead, it highlights innate strengths across 14 dimensions of thinking and aligns them to cybersecurity work roles defined in the NICE/NIST framework.

Time Commitment:

  • The assessment is completed fully online.
  • Average completion time is approximately 90 minutes.
  • No preparation or studying is required.
  • For the best experience, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer. Mobile devices and tablets are not supported.
  • Participants may take breaks between tasks; once a task is started, it must be completed before pausing.
  • All responses are securely stored by CyberGEN.IQ, and only anonymized data will be shared with WiCyS leadership

    WiCyS and skillrex have partnered on this assessment to better understand the background, skills, and professional development needs of WiCyS members. This is not a test or a certification exam; rather, it is a research tool. Responses will help identify skill trends.

    Time Commitment:

    • The assessment is completed fully online.
    • Average completion time is approximately 60 minutes.
    • No prerequisite knowledge or experience is required.
    • For the best experience, we recommend using a laptop or desktop computer. Mobile devices and tablets are not supported.
    • Participants may take breaks between tasks; once a task is started, it must be completed before pausing.
    • All responses are securely stored by skillrex, and only anonymized data will be shared with WiCyS leadership

    Participant Benefits:

    • Receive a personal report with their score, showing how they performed on a knowledge-based quiz aligned with industry-standard frameworks (like NIST-NICE).
    • Gain understanding of specific areas of expertise and, more importantly, where they may have skill gaps.
    • The results will include their knowledge quiz score, showing the total number of correct answers.
