Now in its third year, the Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) Software Engineering Institute (SEI) recently reaffirmed its commitment to Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) as a Tier 1 strategic partner.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 18, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Now in its third year, the Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) Software Engineering Institute (SEI) recently reaffirmed its commitment to Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) as a Tier 1 strategic partner.
CMU hosted the 2019 WiCyS Conference in Pittsburgh, with countless volunteer hours provided by the SEI’s CERT Division. The SEI’s CERT Division is known as the “birthplace of cybersecurity research” having created the world’s first computer security incident response team, the CERT Coordination Center, to respond to widespread Internet attacks.

In addition to its support of the annual WiCyS Conference, CMU SEI engages in a range of activities that drive the changes needed in the cybersecurity workforce.
